SYNOPSIS
At 8:15 a.m. on August 6, 1945, the atomic bomb “Little Boy” was dropped in Hiroshima. A six-year-old girl who was there has her own Little Boy, Kim Hyung-ryul later. Realizing the tragedy of the bomb engraved on his body, Kim tells the world.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Little Boy 12725 is a documentary about two little boys of which one perished 60 years after the other. An atomic bomb Little Boy, as a source of suffering for many, is buried in Tinian Island of the Western Pacific where the primitive form of mankind is still preserved. And another little boy named Kim Hyeong Ryul is laid to rest in Hapcheon - a small town known as Hiroshima of Korea. This film observes 12725 days of written records and pleading messages Kim Hyeong Ryul has left in this world and asks what we must do.
