SYNOPSIS

Having lost her swimming goggles at a swimming class in childhood, Ji-young has a fright for water. Now being an adult, she still cannot open her eyes in water. She is anxious about her final exam of a swimming class and career. She finds out that her tutee, a high school student Su-kyung has goggles and tries to borrow them, but Su-kyung is not home when she is supposed to borrow them. After leaving home, Su-kyung dreams of flying up on the roof when it rains. Ji-young still wanders without opening her eyes in her dream.

DIRECTING INTENTION

There are always problems to solve waiting for us at every step of our lives. We cannot truly grow up until we pass over and break through it. Especially during our youth, we face a feeling of uneasiness and solitary for unknown future to become an adult in the society. We feel desperate for something to show us a clear way when we have inner conflicts between our dream and reality, our ability and ideal with the feeling of anxiety before our unknown future. I wanted to describe this kind of solitary and fear, and the emotion to look for a way.
