SYNOPSIS

Hye-jin, a North Korean defector who is working as a laboratory assistant, is under pressure from the department representative regarding the handling of the sports festival expenses. Dr. Jung, who is the doctor-in-charge, gives Hye-jin the responsibility of overseeing the school’s operating expenses and the government’s supporting businesses… While checking Dr. Jung’s e-mails, Hye-jin sees one of the emails suggesting the embezzlement of the subsidy and starts to suspect Dr. Jung.

DIRECTING INTENTION

An elite female North Korean student defector witnesses the capitalist misery of the society in South Korea and worries over her hopes and dreams.
