Eight people with disabilities living in tents in a park in Seoul strike begins.
Those who protested over a year for their freedom from Secokam Foundation are now fighting for the right to live in the community.

Provide independent housing!
Establish five years plan!
Expand the activity hours and repeal the limit hours!

70% of disable people in facilities are hoping to leave the facilities.
However, many of them do not have money to live independently in the community, they live in facilities and amenities such as more than human lives in closets.
Seoul Mayor, Se-Hoon Oh promised with disabilities independent living, and would provide measures through interviews in late december 2008. However, has not lived up to promises.
After protest of 8 people with disabilities and age groups which last 62 days, Seoul city finally settled the project for independent living homes, and support transition services with disabilities by actually installing the service and promised to support life outside of facilities.
8 main people of this struggle eventually loosen the protest for disabilities in the community, and will begin independent living.

We hope this film will nourishes hope for disabled people to find their living life in community.
