SYNOPSIS

Indonesia started implementing the construction for a monorail, but the project remains incomplete due to her excessive investment. As a result, we can see 103 unfinished concrete columns lining up for approximately 3 kilometers along the ‘H.R. Rasuna Said’ road in Jakarta.

DIRECTING INTENTION

This video shows the movements of the columns that respond to clapping sounds, and, consequently the columns take upon the appearance of capitalistic plants that sprout from the capricious desires for urban development that created them.
