'The Hell' is a good example of a digitalized cell animation that has made wide use of rotoscoping. It was made by independent production, but it boasts of a large scale of a total of 100 million cells and 160 backgrounds used. The mainspring of this piece was the will to prove that an active form of art such as animation can be made through independent production, in which free imagination and innovation methods are possible. Its main motif being the basic dilemma of human beings. "The Hell" is a "fun" animation with dramatic appeal.

인간은 누구나 죽음을 향해 삶을 이어가고 있다. 인간이 태어나면서 갖는 딜레마이다. 딜레마는 인간을 고통스럽게 한다. 인간이 삶이 고통스러운 것. 이런 원초적인 딜레마 때문이 아닐까? 그리고 기법적으로는 독립 애니메이션사가 가진 기본적인 틀로써도 충분히 높은 퀼리티의 애니메이션을 만들 수 있다는 걸 보여주고 싶었다.
