One night, I went to the bathroom, and the light were on. No one was in the bathroom. Did I leave the lights on? Oh yeah, mother was in the room next door. Although we lived together, there were times when I felt I was living by myself. On the contrary, there were times when I could not stand the noise, even when I was living alone. All of a sudden, something feels strange about familiar things. Did Albert Camus call it, the sense of absurdity? If it was Freud, he might have called it, uncanny. When connections that seemed to be firm and real break, I lose my grip on life.
