Ho-sang's car is overturned on the journey with his wife, Min-jeong and she's in coma by this accident. Ho-sang is distressed by her wound. One day, he finds a man's signature on his wife's book titled [Sundays in August] and gets jealous. He finds the fact that the mountain villa is the place where they are supposed to go. He decides to visit the villa by himself. Si-nae, Min-jeong's doctor, is interested in Ho-sang and the book [Sundays in August]. Si-nae called So-kook in the secondhand bookstore to order the out of print [Sundays in August]. This book reminds So-kook of his dead friend.

This film is about emotion, reaction and thoughts of 3 people who related the out of print book [Sundays in August]. I want to express the death and life of ordinary people just around us as well as uncertainties and accidents of life. I also would like to represent unexpectedness and ambiguity in days.
