Who doesn't dream when looking at a long path, stretching on towards forever? Those who dream tend to come to terms with their dream on a path of some sort. Life is a path, where one struggles and comes to terms with the self by witnessing and experiencing all sorts of vile and sacred moments on this path. Choosing life therefore means choosing one's very own existence and happiness.

"Le Dejeuner sur L'Herbe" is a painting by Manet that caused a sensation in the late nineteenth century when it was shown. Two naked women are picnicking with two men in modern clothing, and this was enough to send shockwaves through the art community. It wasn't the kind of painting that went with the artistic mores of the time but today it is considered to mark the birth of modernism and not for its provocative nature. It was an attempt to see things as is, going against the impressionists who were in full sail at the time. I hope to cause the same sensation with my film here.
