SYNOPSIS

A woman waits someone, standing on the road, in the book store, at the seashore, in the coffeeshop, outside the motel. She looks like living for waiting.

DIRECTING INTENTION

I live beside two graves of two women. I mow the grass, when the grass grows up. I eat lunch beside the graves while I get the sunshine. Their absence might make me present. I live not because someone is there, but because no one is beside me. I miss the deceased. I miss them so much. Even though I miss them, they cannot come back to me. Their absence cannot become present even though I were waiting for it. I live with their absence, as art lasts forever with creating absence. A Woman is a short film about absence.
