2. ELIGIBILITY
– Submissions are open to all film makers of Korean nationality.
– Filmmakers who hold a Foreigner Registration Card or an Overseas Korean Resident Registration Card, as defined by the Act on the Immigration and Legal Status of Overseas Koreans, are also eligible to submit.
– Filmmakers who do not fall under the above categories may still submit their works for consideration in non-competitive sections.
– Works of any format-including fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental-are eligible for submission.
– Films with a running time of less than 60 minutes will be classified as short films.
– Submitted films must have been completed after August 1, 2024.
– Films with non-Korean dialogue must have Korean subtitles.
3. MATERIALS
– Online Application Form: Please complete the online application form on our official website (Currently available in Korean only)
– SCREENER FILE: Submit your screener via email (prog1@siff.kr), or provide a downloadable Vimeo link.

– Resolution: 1280*720 or 1920*1080
– Codec: H.264
– Format: MP4
– File Size: up to 3GB for feature films / 2GB for short films
※ The screener file must be named as [FILM TITLE_DIRECTOR NAME]
※ Both the online application form and screener file must be submitted by the deadline.
※ Films with a running time under 60 minutes are classified as short films
