DIRECTING INTENTION
People's lives are restricted by laws, rules, ideology, culture, and etc. And sometimes such restrictions are irrational and absurd. “Crosswalk” symbolizes a rule or a system that is easily found but at the same time, it is easily violated. It depicts those who are oppressed under public power and those who are indifferent to such oppression. This project asks how the dignity of human beings should be preserved and for whom does society exist. Although people call themselves a perfect creature, a man after all, is a weak existence, and is always a victim of the rules and of the majority.
