SYNOPSIS
A documentary about the continuing case of Samsung semiconductor plant. “It was like I was in a different world. Men and women all wore same clothes and it looked like a small country. There were a factory, a dormitory, even a hospital. Just being there was sort of making me feel good. I can recall the first time I was in manufacturing line. Real robots were working there.” This is a story about nameless people worked in a clean room, wearing white coat, hat and mask exposing their eyes only.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Just how much would it be if an enterprise’s image value is to be measured with money? And what if that enterprise is the Samsung? While Samsung has been shaping its image as a top-class enterprise through media, there are young laborers who had perished while handling hundreds of toxic chemicals in a sealed factory. This film is a record about vanishing lives of the laborers and their dreams.
