Railway female workers have to work all night because of manpower shortage. 'The Salt' is a story of the railway female workers who are forgot with their important roll.

This project tracks and weaves together the stories and lives of women railway workers who suffer from inordinate rate of miscarriage and struggle to raise their children. Giving birth and raising children for the women workers in the railway, where they cannot dare to take rest because of acutely inadequate staffing level, have become a painful burden.
