SYNOPSIS

In 1985, Sakyejul Publishing releases a novel about an infamous 16th century Korean thief called Im Kkeokjeong. The South Korean government confiscates the book on the basis that its author defected to North Korea, but the publishers succeed in reinstating it through a series of lawsuits. Twenty years later, a person claiming the copyright for the novel appears in Pyongyang. The publishers head to North Korea to meet him for the first ever inter-Korean copyright negotiation.
