In May 2011, led by YPR upon the request from the Hyundai Motor Company, the busting procedure of the YPR union has started. Since then, the union members have gone through harsh violence and been put under discrimination and incrimination. After 5 years of suffering, Han Gwangho, a YPR worker committed suicide. His comrades, eager to put an end to this ongoing tragedy, hold over Han’s funeral and carry on the fight.

On the occasion of the enforcement of the pluralist union law in 2011, the union busting procedure of the state and the corporation occurred a lot. Workers in YPR have been fighting against union busting for a long time and restoring the strength of trade unions, but they have had to suffer injuries, deaths and conflicts. We were listening with the camera in cooperation with their struggle, and we wanted to take a look at the time they have endured and to show them how they are trying to be a human beings that are not destroyed by the destruction of the union.
