When taking off to work, Mr. Moon meets his wife in front of house who just comes back from her night shift. This is how the laborer Moon's day starts bitterly and sorrwfully. There is a facory district around Youngdeunhpo, Seoul called Machikoba where the metal processing shops close up. Moon starts his day with his co-workers; Mr Huh is a good man who alwats encourages his co-workers with smiles in spite of frequent all-night works; Mr Kang hates to work and always thinks of skipping works. They play balls for lunch time after working, sometimes talk about their stories, and sometimes fight each ather, smile and work. That's gow they live their ordinary lives. In a dull afternoon, Moon goes to the Union's office to receive money he lent from his friend, but he cannot but tell hom to work hard without money. Meanwhile Mr Huh with fatigue from hard labor dozes over cuting the metal in front of a cutting machine, when Moon comes into factory.

I wanted to tell 'something' in making this small film titled . I really wanted to open something clearly and recklessly. That's right. That is a film of labors and the working class, that the working class should become main charachers, that spreads the life of laborers thoroughly, and that is not a story of bloody chaebols or wanna-be vhaebols who tell their lives that only they feel with disgusting but serious faces. I wanted to fill this film up with the stories of laborers as main characters in the spaces of laborers. Even though that is bigotaed, cliche, or too obvious, I just wnated to burst upon the stories of laborers without hesitating, whowing metaphorically or beating around the bush. That's not a reality of a laborer which is inserted inot different life stories on the sly. Why are the stories of our laborer expressed in a hidden way whitout opening clealy? It is sure that we say that our reality sucks if it really does. The more we say, the more it would burst. That is something to make as a motive power and that is everything of .
