Ji-yoon, who dreams of becoming a drummer, finds her only solace in chatting with her childhood friend, Tae-hee, from five years ago living in Jinhae. The day before her exam, Ji-yoon impulsively travels to Jinhae to finally meet Tae-hee. However, neither Tae-hee, nor Jinhae, nor even her past self are as she remembers. A strange emotion brushes against her, and Ji-yoon captures the moment in a poem.

When familiar things turn unfamiliar, the shift feels more like a profound loss. In her youth, Ji-yoon moved through moments without fully grasping her emotions, only to be overtaken by sorrow and regret later. I sought to layer these belated feelings into the film indirectly, subtly, and loosely. In the montage where Ji-yoon reads a poem, I used relatively tight shots to deliberately capture the moment those missed emotions resurface.
