SYNOPSIS

Changkuk, at 59, maintains his daily life through online Korean language lectures and household chores. When a leak appears in the house he's lived in for ten years, he hires a contractor who only ends up demolishing the wrong bathroom. Returning home from work, his family finds Changkuk utterly frustrating.

DIRECTING INTENTION

Leak is a film about Chang-guk, a 59-year-old man who lives in the house I’ve called home for the past fifteen years. I wanted to capture the image of my father that I’ve long observed and quietly wished for. It is a gentle film that seeks to console a life slowly drifting into isolation.
