SYNOPSIS

This movie is divided into two parts and it is about two women, Ga-In and Do-Hee. The former has an eating disorder and the latter is going to have a baby out of wedlock. Ga-In lives in the States and Do-Hee is temporarily residing in Korea. Both of them have no close friends and their attention is geared towards their bodies which eventually give them no comfort. This movie has an extremely simple storyline, but depicts the loneliness of the lost souls in a fine delicate manner.

1973년생. 서울대에서 서양화를, 미국 칼아츠에서 영화를 전공했다.

주로 여성의 정체성과 몸의 이슈를 다룬 다큐멘터리와 실험영화를 만들었다.

2002년에 선보인 <김진아의 비디오 일기>는 거식증을 치유해 가는 감독 자신의 생활을 카메라에 담은 독특한 다큐멘터리로 베를린영화제, 밴쿠버영화제 등에서 상영되었다.
