Who am I…'
Man is a filmmaker. Instead of seeking for wealth and honor, he wants to make films as art, not luxurious but delicate films. He also wants to create a film through elaborate thinking. Fighting intensely with his concept, he faces a question which has bothered him for a long time. Whenever he showcases his new film, and whenever he meets his audiences, he feels tormented because of his origin to be asked. Man sets out on his own journey so as to escape from his agony. He wanders around nameless mountains, oceans and caves, still thinking hard. One day, a woman like an angel appears to him.

We see Korea in the twenty-first century. Numerous young people including college graduators struggle with unemployment crisis and hard livelihood in Korea. Some of elementary school students study college books, as they live for the sake of their parents’ desires for social ‘levels.’ They do not even know what is right or wrong. They pursuit each other, as mice run around in a treadwheel. There is no ‘I,’ or it is not important anymore. There is only ‘me as a target’ or ‘me for you.’ The Designer throws questions such as ‘Who am I?’ and ‘Where did I come from?’ It asks questions to the protagonist or to the viewers. A simple honest but delicate question about our identity, ‘What is that I really seek for?’ although the target of the question might be vague. The Designer will become a small present healing modern people who suffer from groundless hardship and who only recognize ‘me for others, me as others’ while forgetting ‘me for me’ or ‘me pursuing my dream.’
