SIFF Screening Tour Program, INDIE PICNIC2022

1. Introduction

In 2004, SIFF started a screening tour program titled ‘INDIE PICNIC’ to extend the base of the independent films and support screening activities of more regions. It started with 9 times screening in 7 regions, and has increased more than 20 times and 30 regions respectively. Also, Korean independent films have been steadily introduced abroad by SIFF.

The line-up of INDIE PICNIC2021 consists of 6 sections with 23 short films, which were prize-winning and controversial in Seoul Independent Film Festival 2021.

We hope to support that short films can be more accessible to audiences through this program.
