SYNOPSIS
유리천정에 막힌 채 파견업체의 계약직 콜센터 지점장으로 살고 있는 세연은 어느 날 19살의 실습생 사원인 이준이 고시원에 유서를 남긴 후 실종되면서 위기를 맞게 된다. 한편 인턴으로 일하며 대기업 입사시험을 준비하던 미래는 2차 면접에 합격을 하고 스터디 멤버인 재원과 함께 합숙 면접을 떠난다. 그러나 그곳에서 좌절감을 가득 안고 돌아온 후
취업준비를 그만 두기로 결심한다. 준의 실종으로 정신이 없는 세연은 미래가 어떤 상황인지 이해하지 못하고 그녀에게 심한 말들로 상처를 준다. 그러던 어느 날 준으로부터 의문의 메시지가 전달되기 시작하고 세연은 깊은 혼란에 빠지게 된다.
DIRECTING INTENTION
19살의 콜센터 노동자인 '이준'이 어느 날 사라진다. 콜센터 센터장 세연은 그의 행방을 좇는 과정에서 준과 자신의 딸 미래의 고통을 마주하게 된다.
<젊은이의 양지>를 통해 신자본주의 시대의 시스템 아래에서 무한 경쟁에 시달리며 고통을 겪고 있는 청춘 세대의 도둑 맞은 삶에 대해 이야기해보고 싶었다. 누구나 가해자가 될 수 있고 피해자가 될 수 있는 이 세계에서 과연 '젊은이의 양지'는, 우리들의 양지는 어디일까?

SYNOPSIS
Se-yeon, a branch manager of a call centre under influence of a glass ceiling, encounters a crisis after a 19 year old trainee disappears with a will left at his dorm room. Meanwhile, Mirae, her daughter, who has been preparing for a major company recruitment exam while working as an intern, sets off to a overnight stay for the second round of interview, with another study member, Jaewon. After the interview that only left her with frustrations, she decides to quit. Aware of Mirae’s state of mind, due to June’s incident, Se-yeon hurts Mirae with harsh words. Then one day, strange messages arrive from June, and Se-yeon falls into a deep confusion.
DIRECTING INTENTION
June, a 19 year old call centre worker, disappears one day. The manager of the centre, Se-yeon, comes to face the pain of her own daughter, Mirae, during the process of looking for his whereabouts. The film hopes to depict the youth generation of today, deprived of their own lives, by infinite competition that the system of new capitalism imposes on them continuously. In this world, where anybody could become assailants, and anybody could become victims, where is “the place in the sun” for youths? Where is it for us?
