In the 80s, Hyun-su lives with his mom who runs a small store in the outskirts of the city. He hangs out with Sunp-yo whom Hyun-su's mom does not like. As a matter of fact, Sun-pyo is an innocent kid who is not different from other kids in the town. However, people in the town do not treat him well because he is an orphan and lives in a humble place. One day, Hyun-su and Sun-pyo hang out again. Hyun-su's mom notices it and she brings her son to her store. After the day, Sun-pyo disappears around the town.

Sometimes, parents use the anxiety of the reality in order to educate their children. At the same time, they also teach some inconsistency which is created and verified by themselves to their children. This kind of moral collision happens not only between parents and their children but also the national authority and its people.
