The versatile artist, BEK Hyunjin ventures into theater direction, leaving the actors in a state of confusion. His unconventional direction unfolds into strange scenes on stage. Scenes of people howling, a woman's monologue, another woman lip-syncing a song appear in random order, and BEK Hyunjin himself appears on stage as a primitive man, a singer and a narrator.

The film originated as an archival recording of the theatre production. However, during the process, I realised that it was not easy to translate the theatre piece into a film. The film eventually bacame a portrait of the artist BEK Hyun-jin as seen through my eyes. I was curious about BEK Hyun-jin's artistic world, expanding his domain from painter, singer, actor, composer, performance artist to theater director. Like BEK Hyun-jin's artistic world, the film takes on an experimental form that cannot be categorized as a documentary nor a fiction film, using that ambiguity as its key element.
