Middle schooler Hyeju, who had been making BL merchandise on social media, was swindled out of ten million won by her business partner. In an attempt to recover the money, Hyeju plans to deceive her parents by pretending to kidnap her younger brother, whom she’s always found annoying.

Sixteen-year-old eldest daughter Hyeju is a character whose feelings of injustice, stemming from not being loved, have accumulated over time, leading to self-hatred and insecurities. I hope that all the Hyejus who have never received the love and care they deserved can finally feel loved. Though it may still feel awkward and she might not know the right way, I wish she could offer herself a small word of encouragement, "I might be quite cute after all.”
