SYNOPSIS

Writer Kim, who has a backache, moves toward Tongyeong,
Makoto, with cold feet, moves to the south of Korea.

DIRECTING INTENTION

This film is a film supported by ‘Chudo Island Film Festival.’ The conditions requested by the film festival were to include the two following: ‘Island’ and ‘Poetry’. While reading the poem, the interpretation of the poet on movements was very fascinating, and I tried to interpret it into cinematic language. Overall, I wanted to create a feeling of slow movement within a fixed frame with only the actors' lines and small actions.
