Okhee is a lower-class diver in the city. One day, Eunyoung, the daughter of her late husband, comes to visit. What’s more, Kyeongsik, Okhee’s son, who is being chased by creditors, leaves his young son Junseo with them and disappears. Eunyoung wasn’t planning to stay long but misses the chance to leave due to Okhee's accident and the appearance of her step-nephew, Junseo. Eunyoung starts to live together with Okhee, but everything feels uncomfortable.
Eunyoung desperately needs money to regain custody of her daughter, and therefore she becomes interested in the dry-cleaning business her father left behind. Eunyoung wants to sell the dry cleaner’s after renovating it, and Okhee distributes flyers to protect the dry cleaner’s, so the two get into conflict. A redevelopment craze sweeps the small village, and the developers attempt to redevelop the surrounding area using Eunyoung, but since she doesn’t easily give in, they begin to threaten her. Old feelings and stories that were put away are mixed into the struggle as they deceive and corner each other.

The life of ordinary citizens is a mirror of society. The alleyways declining from urbanization, children who have lost their dreams, an elderly mother who must support her family through labor, and the desire for redevelopment that pressures them takes away even the last hope of a family living with hidden wounds. Although they must live in a wretched reality, like Galot (clothes dyed with green persimmons) that becomes renewed with each wearing, the film depicts the process of a misaligned and twisted family, unable to understand each other, finding new hope. I hope this story of finding a family's true legacy becomes a small comfort to modern people who, for various reasons, are closed off to others or have shut their hearts.
