SYNOPSIS

Jonam, the Jindo dog raised by Jjang Ddoong, gave birth to six cute puppies. Among them, only Hwangto, the puppy that looks just like his mother, is left behind, while the others had to leave. Although Hwangto is greedy for food and causes all sorts of trouble, Hwangto is Jjang Ddoong’s best friend. Then one day, Hwangto disappears...

DIRECTING INTENTION

Oh Jin-hee's original cartoon, 『Jjangdungi』, has been reborn as a stop-motion animation. Set in the 1970s, it aims to remind tired adults of their childhood memories and convey the beauty of nature to children who are increasingly missing out on it in their urban lives. It has been produced as a family/educational animation that parents and children can watch together. We hope it becomes an opportunity to convey the gentle emotion of family love and caring for one another.
