This film is about restoring relationships between father and daughter. The father’s political choice broke the relationship between him and his daughter. Director’s father has devoted his life to supporting the North Korean regime. Her three brothers, who were teenagers 30 years ago, returned to North Korea. Director Yang was six years old at that time. Over the past 20 years, she has repeatedly visited North Korea to record the lives of her separated families living in too different worlds.
