Images of wars of the past, women. Comfort Houses, Japanese soldiers, and the silent outcry of old women who once had to serve as comfort women for the Japanese military... Focusing on the testimonies, feelings and emotions of past comfort women, their experiences have been reconstructed by separating sound from image. Fixed video images were made into actual photo prints and sorted out. These prints were then recombined with testimonies, texts, and music using motion graphics, and expressed with a new twist.

일본군 ‘ 위안부’ 출신 할머니들의 증언 비디오를 기초로 해서 이미지와 소리, 텍스트를 실험적으로 결합한 작업니다. 사진은 정지영상, 비디오는 동영상이라는 상식적 고정관념에서 탈피한 자유로운 매체의 넘나들기다. 비디오 영상이 가지는 실사적인 제한을 극복하고 이미지∙소리∙문자의 3가지 텍스트를 결합하여 미디어를 넘나드는 새로운 형식의 다큐멘타리를 구현하여 다양한 채널 통한 발신을 시도했다.
