SYNOPSIS

This work started from 2004 and is influenced by artists who studied found-footages and its materialism from film emulsion. Also, it is all manually developed by self-mixed developer and then affected by strong acid-chemicals. Finally I made a black and white print controlled in contact printer and continually had toning-processes in a commercial lab so that this color print is reflected by the color variation through the printing process. I think that the experimental composition of projection and sound is completed by artist `s own practice in a final stage. The final delivery might be done always newly through the details for the surface, the spontaneous reaction for the movement made by light and projector. Through the processes that some chemicals affect leader films and found-footages are recreated, film emulsion is remade in all surface but perforation, finally it becomes a super 16mm format. And new sound is composed by the combination of light and cracked image dubbed in soundtrack so that it could be said physically the closest sound combined with images. The new approach for image and projection experimentation remains some tasks for me. The image consumption in a multiplex, the attitude for a small experimental-work of commercial labs surviving by the copies of feature film prints, they are a violence for me in the circumstance which there are no spaces for differences and no labs being able to produce it creatively.
